New album name and release date announced

Ed sent out an email this morning with some exciting info about his new album.

Ed's new album will be entitled "Alive" and is scheduled for release on July 2nd, 2010 in Australia and New Zealand. The album is being released through Sony music.

I am looking forward to this album

I got myself a copy of ed's albumn yesterday... and i must say that i don't mind it! I was pleasantly surprised
Drive & Fire on the Mountain are standing out as my early favourites, Grace has started to grow on me, and there are a couple of others that are pretty good as well!
To me this albumn musically sounds like a mash up between Birds of prey & Songs from Black Mountain, but it's heaps better than SFBM!!!. Ed's vocal work is exceptional on this albumn!. Overall I'd rate the albumn 3 1/2 out of 5,

I got mine a week or so ago and it wasn't my favourite to start with, but it has def grown on me now

I dont think lyrically it is as good as some of LIVEs songs.
